What’s up with Make Me Pulse ?

Since this is a while we have not had the opportunity to make articles, we’ll give you some info on our current work and our recent achievements.

Regarding the latest developments, we had two beautiful FWA:), for a realization in collaboration with Addiction Agency, Les Meningo (FWA & special mention to the price of GP Strategies Digital Marketing 2010). The second is for the website Ma-dame latest fragrance from JP Gaultier in collaboration with our friends Les 84.

We are especially pleased to announce the achievement in co publishing the Facebook application for Urban Rivals! After over 6 months of intense work, the project is finally available for everyone! Feel free to register and send a max of invitations to all your Facebook friends:).

In other news, not least, we have (re) made our website (book) that will present our latest work!The address is quite simple: www.makemepulse.com.

I would also like to share a few pictures of the offices where we had the pleasure of settling since last August (yeah it been a while now:))

What’s new on Make Me Pulse ?

Hi !
After our (soon) first year of life, it’s time to show a part of our differents works. As you know, Make Me Pulse makes only development (Flash and PHP). Here we go for a few selection of our work

Our biggest project was to work on the revamp of NRJ website platforms. We work with e-NRJ development team to made this possible. It was a huge work during 6 months and the result can be check on http://www.cheriefm.fr/

We also worked with Addiction Agency, some “old” friends from Publicis on several projects for Eurosport. We worked with them on another project for RM Gatte Fossé.

We have also work with Digitas on the new Nissan website. (FWA Site of the Day Baby )

We just finished the first part off the new Dior watches website (full Javascript with YUI… ouch ) with The Blast Machine.

And to finish this selection, a few words about our best meeting of 2008, Yohan and Olivier from Jam’s Brain. We work with them on Modepass.com (yes we are geek and we also like beauty and fashion !) and a new version will soon be launched.

To close, a few words about the future of Make Me Pulse. We have a new Senior PHP/Mysql Developper which comes at the beginning of May. To complete our team we are also hiring a talented Junior PHP/Javascript developper… so if you’are interested and near Paris (it’s better) feel free to contact us at contact_AT_makemepulse.com .

Just a few words about the new versions of Search (yeah we need to find a name ) :
- new service in Shopping area with Ebay
- new categorie Blog
- new categorie Map
- new services in Blog with Technorati, Twitter and Google Blog
- new services in Map with different rendered map using Google Maps.

Search Make Me Pulse Updates

Yeah, just one day and already an update. Few things:
- you don’t need to be register to make search
- you need to be registred to make filters
- new search category named “Shopping”
- new webservice to search on : Amazon and Yahoo Shopping
- you can purchase stuff on Amazon by clicking on “Buy it” in your search results

Today is a special day for us.
At Make Me Pulse we often have (stupid) ideas on web service to develop. In January 2008 we had one of this idea… The project was to offer a website that could search on a list of others website which provides content. We wanted to make this as easy as possible with a beautifull design. We started the development as soon as possible. During February the design was made by Aline and the development could start. The first closed version was finished at the end of May (we had a lot of work in parrallel). We added some feedbacks and new features after this first release… but at the same moment we created our company (Make Me Pulse) and we had too much work to finish Search… So today after some enhancement we decided to open publicly this web application. This is an early stage of the final version we have in mind but a first one . Hope you will like it!

One says goodbye, and another says hello.

Hi, I’m Sean “Seantron” McCracken, and I’m the newest addition to Make Me Pulse. I currently am Head of Research and Development at Influxis, which means that I am all about Flash Media Server, Papervision3D, Red5, Flex, Flash/Flash Lite, and Cookies (chocolate chip, please). I am also into Motion Graphics, After Effects, 3D stuff, Generative Art, and whatever else I find on Google.

So hopefully I’ll be able to share some cool stuff, and spread the geek love.

My current TMO (three month obsession) is Papervision, so you’ll probably be hearing a lot about that from me for a bit.

Make Me Pulse makes me feeds ?

During our free time, we used to make personal projects.
Today we invite you to discover Make Me A Feed. This application (not finished) allows you to enter a URL of your favorite site and select a portion of its content to make an RSS feed. Whenever the contents of the selected area will change, a new entry in your Rss be inserted. Everything is far from finished and many sites do not allow proper use of our application. Nevertheless, we invite you to try it out and leave your comments on this idea.

Two months ago, at beginning of June, we leaved Publicis to make our own company.
We believe we can make website in a different way than big agencies. After two (three) months, we are very happy of our choice. We win a huge feeling of freedom and a lot of works and interessant projects. We try to keep time for us to build our projects and give life to our ideas…
