			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Another new release on the adobe labs site is the project called <a href="http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/alchemy/">Alchemy</a>.</p>
<p>The purpose of this project is to allow developers to compile C and C++ code into Action Script libraries (AVM2).<br />
With Alchemy, we can now reuse hundreds of millions of lines of existing open source C and C++ client or server-side code on the Flash Platform with the high performance of C and C++.</p>
<p>The C/C++ codes are compiled to ActionScript 3.0 as a SWF or SWC that runs on Adobe Flash Player 10 or Adobe AIR 1.5 !</p>
